Durham League: It was a bad day for the leaders of the top two divisions as both crashed to defeat.

In the First Division this meant Crook Glenholme losing the top spot to last season's champions, Leeholme. Things were not as bad for Nevilles Cross in the Second Division as they held on to the top spot, whilst Newton Hall shot up to second place.

Sherburn Village produced a great performance to beat the visiting Crook Glenholme by 79 shots to 75.

Leeholme visited Langley Park B in the delayed quarter final and won their way through to the semis with a 62 shots to 52 victory.

Central Ladies League

Cockton Hill went to their first win of the season and in doing so seriously dented the Championship challenge from the visiting Durham City. The home side hit top form to beat the Durham side, who had been in the top place in the table for most of the season.

The Cockton Hill victory was only by 81 shots to 80.

Leaders Spennymoor A suffered their first defeat when they visited Mainsforth, who cut the gap at the top to just four points though Spennymoor do have a game in hand. Second division leaders Spectrum bounced back from two defeats to beat Shildon Town B. Wolsingham lost ground on the leaders when they were beaten and they have been joined in second spot by Jubilee who had a big win.
