TALENTED youngsters in Hartlepool are spearheading a campaign to improve the health and fitness of local people.
Hundreds of pupils from across the town entered a competition to design a poster promoting mayor Stuart Drummond's healthy eating and living drive.
Now elements of the mayor's three favourite posters will be combined to create a logo for his campaign, which aims to reduce illness and premature deaths caused by poor diet.
The winner of the competition was Sericka Watson, from Throston Primary School. Runner-up was Kayleigh Mills and third place went to Anthony Howe, both from Greatham Primary School.
They each received gift vouchers.
