TWO youngsters have shown they have what it takes to keep others safe on North Yorkshire's roads.
The pupils from Stokesley Primary School won a competition organised by the county council to design road safety signs.
Every pupil in the school entered the competition and County Councillor Caroline Seymour and local road safety officer Alison Butterfield had the task of choosing two winners from hundreds of entries.
The winning designs were then used to create full-size signs for the newly-created 20mph zone in Springfield Road, Stokesley.
Winners Annabel Mellor, ten, and Isaac White, six, received miniature versions of the signs along with a gift voucher and some road safety prizes.
Every pupil who entered the competition received a pencil. The school received miniature versions of the signs.
