SCREAMING crowds flocked in their thousands from all over the North to the TFM Live Concert at Stockton Riverside yesterday.
About 25,000 people turned up to watch the concert in fabulous weather and enjoy an electric atmosphere.
The evening's line-up, which was changed at the last minute, saw Gareth Gates being replaced with Fame Academy winner David Sneddon, and Junior Senior were replaced by Triple A. Band Tommi also appeared.
Girls Aloud, Mark Owen, Busted, Lemonescent, and Kym Marsh all performed live in the concert, which was part of the annual Stockton International Riverside Festival.
During the day, the growing crowds were treated to five-and-a-half-hours of build-up, including Sweet Hour, featuring a selection of bands aimed at under 18s, the Mojo Experience with TFM's breakfast show presenter Mojo, and Busted Cam, a live feed from Busted's backstage area.
Cath Ellington, the managing director of 96.6TFM, said: "We promised to bring the very biggest names in pop to Stockton and we have more than achieved this.
"TFM Live is one of our major annual events and we hope people have had a great time."
