FORMER Church Lads and Church Girls Brigade members are invited to a get-together to mark the centenary of an annual camp.
The brigade's 100th North-Eastern camp takes place at the Lakes School, at Troutbeck Bridge, Windermere, in the Lake District, from August 16 to 23.
To mark the centenary, the brigade is inviting former Church Lads and Girls Brigade members who attended any of the camps to visit this year's event on Sunday, August 17. It will include a service, parade and evening meal.
Derick Jackson, commanding officer of St Aidan's Church Lads and Church Girls Brigade, at Framwellgate Moor, Durham, would like to hear from former members who may be interested in taking part.
He said: "During the day, it is our intention to hold presentations and events to show how the camp has changed over the years, and also to display photographs and memorabilia.
"It may also be a chance to become reunited with old friends."
Mr Jackson said records do not include contact numbers for all former members.
Anyone interested in attending is asked to call Mr Jackson on 0191-384 5759.
