ARTISTS are exploring aspects of the natural landscape in an exhibition which opened yesterday.
The Royal Horticultural Society's Harlow Carr Gardens, in Harrogate, is hosting the show which reflects the wealth of talent in the north of England.
Twenty-four painters, printmakers and sculptors are exhibiting work in a variety of media expressing their responses to the environment and man's impact on it.
Each artist has approached their work in a different way but all are looking at the natural landscape, the plants that inhabit it and the way it has changed.
The show runs until Sunday, August 17, and is open daily from 11am to 5pm.
One of the exhibiting artists will be present each day to greet visitors and offer them a chance to talk about the work on show.
