A WOMAN who held her former husband at knifepoint in a four-hour stand-off with armed police pleaded guilty yesterday to making a threat to kill him.
Terrie Twentyman, 36, was finally overpowered and subdued with CS gas at the house in Park Lane, Middlesbrough.
She was originally charged with false imprisonment of her former husband Barry Lawrence which she denied, but the judge ordered the charge to be left on the court file.
Mrs Twentyman, of Peirse Close, Middlesbrough, has been in custody since the incident in February . She was remanded again at Teesside Crown Court for a psychiatric and pre-sentence report.
Judge George Moorhouse told her that next month he would probably make a Community Rehabilitation Order with a condition that she received psychiatric treatment.
