NINE jewellers chosen for their skills and innovative use of materials will showcase their work in an exhibition.
Visitors to the Shipley Art Gallery, in Gateshead, will be able to see the exhibition called New Talent.
On display alongside work from the Cleveland Craft Centre's international contemporary jewellery collection will be jewellery created from paper, elastic, rubber, formica and leather.
Gallery curator Ann Fletcher-Williams said: "Following on from the success of last year's New Directions exhibition, which featured emerging glassmakers, this exhibition focuses on the art of jewellery.
"We are delighted to offer a platform to showcase emerging new talent in the UK.
"It also gives our visitors the opportunity to see unusual, exciting new jewellery and even buy a piece of their own to take home."
The gallery is open Monday to Saturday, 10am to 5pm, and Sunday, 2pm to 5pm. Admission is free.
