TICKETS are available for the fifth annual Darlington Heritage Open Days.
The event, from September 12 to 15, includes tours of some of Darlington's landmark buildings, including the County Court, the Kings Head Hotel and Elm Ridge Methodist Church.
In addition, visitors to the Crown Street Library's centre for local studies can see items not usually on display.
Local historian George Flynn will lead a Darlington Heroes Walk, which commemorates two local brothers who were awarded the Victoria Cross.
Heritage bus tours will take visitors to Walworth Castle, Tees Cottage Pumping Station, Darlington Railway Centre and Museum and Mowden Hall.
