THREE temporary workers were rewarded for being "one in a million" at a presentation night.
Richard Maughan, from Northumberland, Nicola Hawes, from Durham, and Peter Whitter, from Sunderland, won joint first place in a competition to find "temps" who stand out from the crowd.
The One in a Million competition was designed to coincide with National Temporary Workers Week and the three were presented with their prizes at a party held by recruitment company Core-people.
They all won a mini-cruise for two people to Amsterdam with £100 spending money.
Richard was nominated by Bryant Homes while Nicola was nominated by Northumbrian Water. Peter Whitter, who has won the competition for the last three years, was nominated by the company Ondeo Degremont.
More than 100 staff and clients attended the Corepeople party, which was held at the company's offices in Durham.
