A piece of glass art has been presented to one of the biggest private sector employers on Tyneside in celebration of a decade of sponsorship of one of the region's most famous art galleries.
The glass, engraved by local artist Peter Furlonger, was given to P&G by the Laing Art Gallery, in Newcastle and lists all of the exhibitions sponsored by the company over the past decade.
P&G which employs about 1,800 people, has sponsored eight exhibitions at the Laing since 1993, and have been visited by more that 700,000 people.
P&G brands, used in more than 160 countries, include Pampers, Lenor, and Clairol Nice'n Easy.
