A MORTGAGE broker is undergoing a second expansion since moving to new premises in Darlington 18 months ago.
Mortgage and Property Services moved to Lingfield House, Lingfield Point, last February, with ten staff, having outgrown its Victoria Road premises, where it started six months earlier.
The company is leasing extra office space at Lingfield House for the second time, because its workforce has grown to 16 and is expected to expand further.
Mortgage and Property Services provides mortgaging facilities to clients across the North-East.
Robin Knox, owner of Mortgage and Property Services, said: "We are very lucky to be in a position to be able to consider expanding our business and taking on new staff without having the upheaval of moving to new premises.
"The success of our business has mirrored the exciting growth of Lingfield Point, and we are working towards our goal of making Mortgage and Property Services a national company."
Eddie Humphries, estate manager, said: "We are delighted that Mortgage and Property Services is continuing to prosper at Lingfield Point. We pride ourselves on offering extremely flexible office premises."
