VISUALLY impaired volunteers have produced a newsletter for fellow sufferers in Darlington.
The 4sight newsletter aims to keep visually impaired people, and their families and friends up to speed on news and developments affecting them. It will be produced quarterly by volunteers Fiona Ferguson, Lorna Jones, Colin Light and Christine Kay.
More than 1,000 copies of the summer 2003 edition have already been circulated to people across the town.
Darlington Talking Newspaper, which is based at The Northern Echo offices in Priestgate, provides the newsletter on tapes for listeners. Copies of 4Sight are available in Braille, large print or e-mail.
To get a copy or to join the 4Sight mailing list call (01325) 346280 or 346704.
