A DARLINGTON youngster has joined scores of other children from across the country at a national dog training event.
Joanne Irving, 12, of Sadberge, will be at the Young Kennel Club Training Camp with her Labradors Golden Dewdrops and Noir Nectar, at Newark show ground in Nottinghamshire, until tomorrow. The six-day event teaches young people dog training techniques in obedience and agility. Caroline Kisko, of the Kennel Club, said: "It's important to invest in our youngsters. Young enthusiasts of today will be the responsible dog owners of tomorrow.
