VILLAGERS gathered for a day of family fun at the weekend.
Haswell Community Centre was the venue for the event on Saturday.
Children's entertainment included juggling, bowling, balloon modelling, face-painting, body art and a puppet show.
There was also a chance to take part in a bike ride
Visitors tested their skills at building and racing a go-kart with members of Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers.
The day was organised by Aim High, the organisation bring together agencies that help people living in East Durham access learning and employment.
Ian Gibson, of Aim High, said the community fun day was also an opportunity for people to meet advisors who could help them improve job prospects.
