AN ANTIQUES expert will be putting a price on family heirlooms at a fundraising valuation night.
North-East antiques expert Giles Hodges will be at the Ravensworth Arms, Lamesley, between Chester-le-Street and Gateshead, on Tuesday, September 16.
The event, which begins at 7pm, is to raise money for an organisation that trains dogs to help people with disabilities.
There will also be a mini auction for luxury items from a Harrods hamper to signed Newcastle United memorabilia.
A training shirt belonging to Nikos Dabizas and shorts belonging to Kieron Dyer will be going under the hammer.
The event will raise money for the International Dog Service Fund, which trains dogs to specifically to meet its future owner's needs.
The charity is trying to raise funds to set up a training centre in Chester-le-Street.
