FANS of children's book favourites Squirrel Nutkin and Samuel Whiskers are in for a treat at a summer craft fair.
Young visitors to the event, at Nunnington Hall, near Helmsley, can take part in a Beatrix Potter Treasure Hunt on Sunday, August 31.
The adventure will mark the final day of Nunnington Hall's The Wonderful World of Beatrix Potter exhibition, which offered an opportunity to study a collection of original watercolours and drawings.
Organised by the Ryedale National Trust Centre, the fair will open at 12.30pm and includes other garden games, crafts and demonstrations.
Visitors can learn about a range of crafts, from rag rug-making and quilling to watercolour painting and mohair spinning.
Stalls will sell jewellery, candles, toys, books, clothes and hand-made textiles, with all proceeds supporting local National Trust projects and properties.
