POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a 40-year-old woman was assaulted.
She needed stitches after she was struck on the back of the head with an unknown object in Queen Street, Redcar, east Cleveland, at 1.15am on Sunday, August 10. She had been passing Rosie O'Grady's pub.
Two men and a girl were seen running off towards Turner Street.
The men were in their late teens or early twenties, about 5ft7in and slim. One was wearing dark trousers and the other a dark, hooded top. The girl was in her mid-teens and wearing blue jeans.
