VILLAGE performers are venturing into a world of suspense and intrigue in their latest production.
The Hutton Rudby Amateur Dramatic Society has won fans in the past with their comic shows at the village hall.
For their autumn production they are staging the thriller Nightmare, by Norman Robbins, from September 4 to 6.
The play is a subtly woven web of crime, featuring deceit, suspicion, blackmail, murder and incrimination, set on the edge of the moors.
Tickets cost £5 and are available from Janet Tibbett, on (01642) 700449.
