PARISH councillors are in talks with an estate owner to find a venue for off-road biking.
Danby Group Parish Council said the motorcyclists had used a disused quarry for several years, but that area had been designated a Site of Special Scientific Interest.
Following protests from councillors responsible for the Danby and Castleton area, the agent for Lord Downe's estate, Robert Sword, said: "I want to help find somewhere suitable but I want a different location. I am going to discuss the matter with the parish council."
