FOOD producers, retailers and consumers across the county are being urged to support British Food Fortnight (BFF) from September 20.
The Countryside Agency has put together a free information pack for businesses on how they can get involved.
Caroline Welbourn, of the Countryside Agency, said: "Now in its second year, BFF aims to raise consumer awareness of the need to buy local produce, to reduce food miles and to support rural food businesses."
Any businesses wanting to find out how to create links locally should visit www.britishfoodfortnight.co.uk
Alternatively, contact BFF organisers by calling Leslie Morley on (0207) 840 9292.
