A LEAFLET explaining how North-East roads are policed has been launched.
The Road Policing Strategy 2003-06 sets out how Northumbria Police will enforce the law, promote road safety, patrol and investigate incidents.
Chief Inspector Neil Minto, of motor patrols, said: "We are not targeting the law-abiding drivers, we are aiming to make life safer for them and other road users."
Thousands of leaflets are available in police stations.
