FIFTY aspiring teenage musicians from across the North-East have taken part in their own Fame Academy.
The youngsters won places on a three-day residential rock and pop masterclass, organised by youth charity, the Prince's Trust.
The Sound Live event, at Otterburn Hall, in Northumberland, aimed to develop musical talent and prepare them for a life in the music industry.
Leading session musicians from the London-based Rock School provided one-to-one tuition with the 16 and 17-year-old students, who also had classes in improvisation, songwriting and playing live.
The youngsters formed bands and gave a concert to friends and families at the end of the course.
