A PLANNING application to convert a number of properties in West Cornforth into residential units, office and training space has been approved.

Three houses in Laburnum Terrace are to be divided into two units each for people with mental and learning difficulties.

A house in Oak Terrace is to be converted into an office with training room, sleepover facility and kitchen for staff who work at the property.

There will also be a two- storey extension at the back.
