AN appeal to help people with walking difficulties has been given an £800 windfall.
A therapy centre for sufferers of multiple sclerosis on Teesside is trying to raise £8,000 to buy a medical treadmill, to help people with walking difficulties.
The North Eastern and Cumbrian Co-op has made a £800 donation to the fund, from its community dividend scheme.
Each week, more than 150 sufferers from across the region visit the centre at South Bank, near Middlesbrough, unique in the North-East because it has a decompression chamber.
