Beetles, salamanders and giant spiders are some of the attractions at a free event tomorrow.
They will star in a Bugs Alive creepy crawly show at Killhope, the North of England Lead Mining Museum in Weardale, County Durham.
Creative workshops have a 'winged things' theme tomorrow and Monday when children and parents can make butterflies, dragonflies and other flying creatures.
On Monday, museum assistants will show visitors bats and make bat boxes for Killhope's woodland.
Killhope is open from 10.30am to 5.30pm daily. There is a £1 charge for the workshop and bat events. Call (01388) 537505 for details.
