RELIGIOUS tolerance and harmony was the main theme at a day-long series of events held in Darlington at the weekend.
Khalsa Day, at the Darlington Gurdwara Sahib temple, in Louisa Street, aimed to raise awareness of Sikh culture and was co-sponsored by Darlington Borough Council.
The star attraction was Dya Singh, voted best male artist at this year's World Music Awards. Events also included workshops and Sikh martial arts demonstrations .
