A HUSBAND and wife who were directors of a pet feed business, which failed with debts of more than £20,000 have given undertakings not to hold directorships or take any part in company management for six and a half years.
Derek and Gwendoline Bowles, of Gilthorpe Lane, Whixley, York, were directors of Clyd Marketing Limited, which went into liquidation on January 16 last year, owing £20,437.
The company operated from premises in Moor Lane Industrial Estate, Tholthorpe, York.
The Insolvency Service said that Mr Bowles, 67, and Mrs Bowles, 63, had not disputed matters of unfit conduct.
They said the couple caused Clyd Marketing to trade to the detriment of the Inland Revenue from June 1999.
