TIME is running out for people to view two exhibitions in Hartlepool.
Renaissance, an exhibition of images from a Hartlepool Borough Council collection, chronicles how Hartlepool Docks changed between 1991 and 1995.
During those years, artists were encouraged to visit the town and capture the changes in a range of media, including paintings and sketches.
On display at the same time as Renaissance is Turning the Tide, an exhibition portraying a large environmental project.
An artist, a photographer and a poet have all been capturing the Turning the Tide project, which has seen £10m spent revitalising the coastline from Crimdon to Seaham.
Artist Keith Pattison, photographer Robert Soden and poet Katrina Porteous followed the progress of the four-year programme, which involved almost 100 improvement projects along the 18km stretch of coastline.
The exhibitions are held at Hartlepool Art Gallery, in Church Square, until Sun- day.
Admission is free. The exhibition is open tomorrow until Saturday, from 10am to 5.30pm, and Sunday, from 2pm to 5pm.
