ADULTS in Stockton are being given the opportunity to enroll on a range of full-time and taster courses.
The free courses, which are run in conjunction with the European Union Social Fund and development agency One NorthEast, are aimed at people hoping to improve their CV and career prospects.
Courses taking place at the Willows Community Centre, in Northport Road, will include an introduction to counselling.
They will begin on Thursday, September 11, from 6pm to 8pm, for ten weeks.
At the same venue, starting on Friday, September 12, for ten weeks, is Sage computerised accounting level three, which takes place from 12.30pm to 2.30pm.
On Wednesday, September 10, a health and safety at work foundation course will run for two weeks, from 9.30am to 1pm, at Portrack Community Centre, Portrack Lane.
On Thursday, September 11, at the same venue, from 9.30am to 11.30am, Sage computerised accounting level one will run for ten weeks, from 9.30am to 11.30am.
On Monday, September 22, a course called Braille for the sighted will take place from 1pm to 3pm, and will last ten weeks.
