A NORTH-EAST recruitment specialist has told of his concerns that workers are not always receiving their full paid holiday entitlement.

Graham Leach, branch manager at Newton Aycliffe-based Logistics and Manufacturing Recruitment, said he was alarmed by reports that bosses may not be giving employees the correct amount of paid time off work.

He said: "Under the Working Time regulations, full-time and part-time workers are entitled to four weeks' annual paid leave.

"Part-time workers are entitled to a proportionate amount, so a worker employed for three days a week would be entitled to 12 days' holiday a year."

Temporary workers also had rights when it came to holiday pay and should receive paid entitlement from their agencies, he said
