POLICE are appealing for help after four teenagers were hurt in a hit-and-run outside a fairground.
The incident followed an altercation involving several young men and women at the scene on the Stray, at Harrogate, North Yorkshire.
During the course of the row, on Saturday at about 10.15pm, a car was driven into the group.
A boy and a girl, both aged 15, suffered serious leg injuries, and an 18-year-old boy and 16-year-old girl suffered slight injuries.
The car is thought to have been a silver Metro which contained a number of people at the time. It did not stop and drove away from the scene.
Police are appealing for any witnesses, or anyone who has any information about the occupants of the car, to come forward. They are asked to contact Harrogate CID on (01423) 539455.
