A PROGRAMME of summer holiday activities at the central library in Hartlepool ended yesterday.
Face painting, craft activities, painting and drawing were some of the events offered at the library during the school holidays.
The project has been a success, with more than 40 children aged from five to 13, attending the sessions each day.
The events were a partnership between the library, Hartlepool Families First and New Deal for Communities.
They were led by Adele Waller, Chris Hagan and Sharon Robins, who are all children's activity workers.
Graham Jarritt, Hartlepool Libraries direct services officer, said: "The sessions have been a tremendous success, offering a wide range of exciting and stimulating activities for young people during the summer holidays."
