FORMER pupils of a Darlington school are being invited to turn the clock back and attend a reunion.
The classes of 1955 to 1959 from Eastbourne Girls' School will be reunited at Cleveland Bridge Social Club, in Neasham Road, on Wednesday, October 15, at 7pm. Former pupil Myra Apps, nee Rickaby, is using the cast list of a school production from 1958 in an attempt to trace old friends. The two-part operetta, The Boy Mozart and Bastien and Bastienne, featured performances by more than 50 pupils. The principal parts were played by Linda Raine, Elizabeth Gilbert, Patricia Lawson, Janice Warder, Ann Watson, Lexie Darley, Christine Bland, Joan O'Shea, Kathleen Frise, Glenis Craggs, Barbara Wheatley, Carol Render, Elsie Rae and Marsha Boyd. Anyone interested in attending the reunion is asked to contact Mrs Apps on (01325) 462113.
