A BODY which was recovered from the river Ouse, in York, has been identified as that of 35-year-old Steven Feather.
Mr Feather's body was recovered from the river in the Clifton area on Wednesday, not far from where a man was seen falling into the water last Friday night.
Mr Feather, from Pocklington, had spent that evening in a pub with friends but had left on his own, saying that he was going to catch a bus home.
The local coroner has been informed of the death and an inquest is expected to be opened and adjourned today
