A RECRUITING drive for a training course for men is being launched with a free drink next week.
Kick Start for Men, a 15-week training course, is due to be launched at the Wharton Arms, High Street, Skelton, between 1pm and 3pm next Wednesday, September 3.
The course will offer practical accredited training in IT, health and safety at work, site safety passport and basic first aid.
There will also be training in skills including fork lift truck driving and food hygiene.
Matt Parsons, Education Link Worker, explained: "This is a deliberate initiative aimed at men. We've lots of women on our courses."
The course starts on Tuesday, September 10.
