Bedale, August Medal: Good scoring and card countbacks required in all divisions in this month's medal.
With a standard scratch of 72, many players' scores resulted in handicap reductions, in particular John Mitchinson who last week following wins in the Matt Cook and the Hodgson competitions, saw his handicap reduced by four shots, this time won the third division and will find himself facing further severe treatment from the competition secretary. The best gross prize was won by Martin Fuller who returned a 76.
