Durham League: Leeholme clinched the League Championship as expected with a six points victory at Langley Park, whilst Crook Glenholme were runners-up 14 points behind but with a ten points lead over Ever Ready/Craghead.

Wingate were hoping to move into third place but only managed to beat the visiting Shotton by two points. Wingate won by 95 shots to 70.

Addison Park went into the final match with a one point lead at the top of the Second Division but lost the title to Brandon when they went down to the visiting Vane Tempest, whilst Brandon beat the visiting Murton. Addison Park lost to Vane Tempest by 69 shots to 75.

Mainsforth clinched the Third Division title with an 11 points advantage over Chilton, who ended four points ahead of Willington Spectrum. Wolsingham visited Mainsforth hoping to whitewash their hosts to grab a promotion place but they only managed to win one rink. Mainsforth won by 92 shots to 68.

Spennymoor A landed the League Championship after they beat one of their major rivals, the visiting Sherburn by two points, whilst their other rivals, Crook Glenholme could only draw with the visiting Langley Park. This gave the Moors the title by two points from Glenholme with Sherburn a further two points adrift. Spennymoor won by 52 shots to 49.

Willington and Langley Park are relegated to the Second Division, with Leeholme just managing to avoid the drop thanks to a better shots difference than Willington.

Addison Park had already clinched the Second Division title, but the runners-up spot was in doubt with the second team, Chilton playing hosts to the third team, Langley Park A. The home side won by 69 shots to 49.

Bishop Auckland won the Third Division with a stylish finish when they whitewashed the visiting Spennymoor C by 78 shots to 30.

Durham City virtually placed one hand on the League Championship trophy when they only dropped one point on their visit to Mainsforth, whilst their nearest rivals, Vane Tempest only collected one point from the visit to Bishop Auckland.

Ithe A division Dene resumed their winning ways by defeating North Park 4-0. While it was a good day for Woodland with a team consolidating their second place and the B team gaining a surprise 4-0 win over East Park to record their first win of the season.

With the withdrawal of East Park B from the B division the tables have been revised in accordance with rule 8G. Hundens A have benefited from this action, but South Park B could still top the league which they play each other in the final week.
