The Richmond and Zetland Harriers female team finished third on the night in the sixth and last NYSD T&F League meeting at Clairville Stadium, Middlesbrough on Tuesday 12th but the ten points they earned took their season's total to 66 and was enough to secure the new League Trophy.
The depleted male team could only manage seventh place and 6 points; their 56 point total kept them in third place behind Billingham and M&C. The competition for the Overall Trophy went "down-to-the-wire" - Billingham finished on top with 129 points, RZH were runners-up with 122 and M&C third with 122.
