A MYSTERY guest footballer attended a Darlington school to present prizes to pupils at a summer workshop. The identity of the Darlington Football Club player was kept a closely guarded secret until yesterday when Ian Clarke, above, arrived at Hummersknott Comprehensive School. A total of 27 children attended a week-long literacy workshop to help them prepare for the new school term. Organiser Carol Hartley said: "They have absolutely loved it and the school was a great success.
