People of all ages are being invited to take part in a version of one of Gilbert and Sullivan's greatest operettas.
After the success of the Pirates of Penzance at Topcliffe, near Thirsk, in February, young and old alike are being recruited for a follow-up production of The Mikado, which will be staged at Asenby.
Rehearsals for the production begin on October 1 at St Columba's Church, Topcliffe, at 6.30pm.
Organisers said everyone is welcome to attend.
Auditions for the principal parts will be held on Friday, September 19, at the church, starting at 6.30pm.
In addition to performers, help is needed with a range of technical roles, including costumes, scenery, lighting and other backstage work.
