PLANS to refurbish farm buildings on the outskirts of Darlington are likely to be approved by councillors.
An application has been submitted by Martin Corney for an old farmhouse and other buildings at Low Skerningham to be turned into three single-storey homes, with a block of four garages.
It is a revised application to Darlington Borough Council, following the refusal of planning permission in April for a scheme which would have included a visitor centre and community woodland.
Two letters of objection have been sent to planners, but officers are recommending approval. The planning committee meets in the town hall on Wednesday.
