A community enjoyed a storytelling and arts festival in the countryside yesterday.
The event took place at Cowpen Bewley Woodland Park, in Billingham, where there was a variety of activities for all ages including a circus skills, didgeridoo performances, storytelling and face painting.
Event organiser Fiona Shipp said: "We want to people to enjoy the countryside so they develop a natural desire to protect the environment. My way of doing this is using arts as a medium.
"We want to involve the local community in what we are doing and we are trying to get them out into the parks."
