Dancers will have every reason to get into the groove at a North-East pub.
A £45,000 dance floor has been installed at The Cross Keys, in Yarm High Street.
It is a computer controlled world-first, underlit with 16 million colour variations and replaces a 1970s style dance floor, which was fitted in the 1980s.
Cross Keys manager Jason Moran said: "The 70s style floor was famous in the locality and there was a hoo-ha to save it. But it was a bit old hat, dirty and low-tech.
"The new floor is brand new technology, the only one of its size in the world. They installed a smaller one for a special edition of Top of the Pops. The whole thing is run by computer.''
The pub will unveil its dance floor on Friday.
