With only two games remaining, it is still all to play for and although Evenwood and Willington are ahead of their rivals, Tudhoe and Kimblesworth cannot be discounted.
All four won on Saturday with leaders Evenwood hurrying to a ten-wicket victory at Crook Town, who were all out in just 23.3 overs for 52 as Deighton Butler and John Maughan, with 5-26 in 12 overs, ripped through their batting line-up.
Butler then followed up his four-wicket performance carrying his bat for 36 with one six and six boundaries as Evenwood needed just 12.2 overs at the wicket.
Willington are just a point behind the leaders after dismissing Shildon for a mere 45 runs. Gareth Wyatt has been in good form all season, but he surpassed all previous performances when they claimed eight wickets for only 16 runs.
Although Shildon claimed a couple of successes, the game was Willington's as Steve Donnelly struck 31.
Third-placed Tudhoe were another side to dismiss their opponents cheaply.
Etherley managed only 69 with Tim Smalley and Shahid Anwar both taking three wickets.
Smalley (21no) and Simon Davies, with an unbeaten 26 then cemented victory with an unbroken partnership for the third wicket.
On a day when runs were in short supply, Kimblesworth bucked the trend, scoring 249 for the loss of just four wickets at Ushaw Moor, where they won by 122 runs to remain fourth-from-top.
Brian Clancy was in outstanding form, contributing an unbeaten 125 and Michael Riley gave assistance with 48 before being run out.
By then, Ushaw Moor faced a formidable target and after the departure of Sanjay Raul for 34, the innings stuttered to 127 all out as Nigel Darling returned 6-53 and man-of-the-match Clancy 3-35.
Esh Winning's batsmen also found the going difficult at Sedgefield, where they were dismissed in 36.1 overs by the combined efforts of Stephen Broderick and Martin Lower.
Broderick captured seven wickets for a meagre 22 runs in 11.1 overs and Lower picked up three wickets for 23 in 12 overs as Esh posted only 72 all out. Peter Ellwell (35) and Eddie Johnson with 29 then completed the easy task.
Tyrone Beaton (46) and Grant Falk (32) scored most runs in the Langley Park total of 136 as Robert Chismon and Gary Purcell both claimed four wickets for Mainsforth.
The pair then led the home side to a six-wickets win.
Purcell contributed 31 and Chismon carried his bat for 67.
