Police and health officials are trying to trace a seriously ill man who urgently needs hospital attention.
The man walked into Malton Hospital, in North Yorkshire, but then walked out before he could be treated.
Health workers said he had a serious chest condition that required urgent medical attention.
The man walked into the hospital on Saturday afternoon and was believed to have got off a York to Scarborough train to seek help because he was feeling unwell.
He gave the name of Steven Williams, although that might be false. He appeared to be confused, and gave several addresses, including ones in Warwickshire and Newcastle.
The man spoke with a strong southern accent and was aged about 62. He was about 5ft 8ins, of slight build with light brown, short hair.
Doctors said the man is advised to seek medical treatment immediately. Anyone with information is asked to call police on (01609) 783131.
