LEADING make-up artist Alison McKay is starting a new venture which will be launched with a fashion show.
Ms McKay, from Hurworth, near Darlington, has set up AM Creative Production and is hoping that local businesses will make use of her expertise.
She has worked with leading fashion designers in London and Milan, but wants to ply her trade in the North-East.
Her skills will be highlighted at a fashion show on Tuesday, September 16, in the Atlantic Bar and Club, on Duke Street.
It will feature designs from local shops, as well as Darlington College of Technology art students.
Ms McKay said she would be available for any companies wanting to organise photoshoots, for brochures or other literature.
"I will be helping with location finding as well, for companies wanting to do location shoots," she said.
"The North-East is under-used as far as photo-shoots are concerned. It could really be used by any company."
