LIFE could be a little easier for secretaries and personal assistants across the North-East and North Yorkshire with the help of a new liaison company.

Suzanne Dawson, who is originally from the North-East but now lives in Harrogate, has launched me, which stands for Meetings and Events.

It is designed to take the pressure off secretaries and PAs by offering a free and comprehensive support service for all venue and event bookers, both in the UK and overseas.

Following eight years as an operations manager in the conference industry, Ms Dawson decided to set up me, which has has already secured several major contracts.

She said: "Time is money these days, and secretaries do not have time for the extras such as booking a hotel.

"We take the strain out of organising.

"We are recognised by all major hotel groups and independent venues and act as an event finder, conference organiser, accommodation booker and event co-ordinator all rolled into one.
