COUNCILLORS are next week likely to approve the sale of empty council homes throughout Darlington.
Darlington Borough Council hopes to sell some properties in North Road, Peabody Street, Ruby Street, Pensbury Street, Eastmount Road and Little Stainton because they are empty and in some cases run-down. If the sales are approved at a meeting on Monday, the houses will be sold on the open market.
