Darlington manager Mick Tait has vowed to do all he can to help the club overcome a disappointing start to the season.
Quakers have taken just three points from their opening five League games and lie second from bottom in Division Three.
Perennial strugglers Carlisle are the only team who lie below Quakers and they visit the Reynolds Arena on Saturday.
And Tait believes a win against the managerless Cumbrians, who parted company with Roddy Collins last week, could help kick-start their season.
"All we can do is look ahead and try to get back to winning ways," said Tait.
"Carlisle are in a worse position than us, only slightly though, and I'm sure they'll be just as up for it as we will be.
"Everybody is very disappointed by the way we've started the season.
"It's up to us to put it right, starting with the game on Saturday."
Australian midfielder Russell Waller is expected to return to action next week when Darlington reserves travel to Notts County on Wednesday.
The 19-year-old, who arrived from Enfield two years ago, has yet to make a first-team appearance for the club after suffering cruciate knee ligament damage.
And despite featuring in several games during pre-season, Waller has since returned to the treatment table after feeling a twinge from the injury.
However, Tait is confident the Adelaide-born player is close to full fitness and hopes to run the rule over his condition next week.
"Russell will probably be fit enough to play for the reserves next week," said Tait.
"He has had a slight problem with a little bit of scar tissue around his knee.
"He's been in a bit of pain in the last couple of weeks but hopefully he's nearly through that."
